I agree. From what i have learned in my very short life,we are called to go deeper then just singing and dancing and are meant to go into the truely deep and scary places of God's true presence. The question i have, is how do we do that?

Enjoyed the audio David - you have a great voice and message.

I think that it is no mistake that we find the wine on the inside of the skin - I think that it represents vulnerable and transparent intimacy. Unfortunately singing is the closest thing that we get to intimacy in church - most sermons are neither vulnerable or transparent.. most fellowship is pretty superficial.. even prayer groups don't go below the surface. You gotta wonder how much folks are willing to sacrifice for the wine? The price of the wine is transparent and vulnerable humility.. too high a cost for some?

David,

Loved the testimony, resonates in my heart. It's so easy to give the right answer, but it's that falsehood that we often allow to invade our lives that keeps us from fully knowing Him. I've come along way since I lost my job there in KC, but it's a journey. Allowing Him to transform my thinking about who He is and what He requires, seeing Jesus as the exact representation of the Father, just to name a few things he is cultivating in the heart these days. Thanks again, listening to message #2 next.

Hey Higg,
I have long believed that we could not disappoint God. As you stated so well, disappointment implies that there was an expectation that was not fulfilled. Since God knew all that we were, all that we would do or could do, all that we would fail to do, then how could HE have an unmet expectation. He knew it all and loved us still. What an awesome God!
